A vibrant healthcare community is rapidly taking shape within the New Epping Health Hub, where collaboration and innovation will create better experiences and healthier futures for patients across Melbourne’s north.
The Health Hub is an integral component of an integrated, 20-hectare ecosystem of hospitals, specialists, allied health providers and research and education institutions, creating the largest combined public-private health cluster in the region.
While some operators already call the New Epping Health Hub home, several complimentary specialist providers are set to join the thriving precinct as part of New Epping Medical. The building will commence in early 2026 and includes a direct bridge connection to the existing Northern Private Hospital, delivering seamless movement between hospital inpatient services and outpatient specialists, faster access to diagnostics and acute treatment, streamlined referrals and more coordinated multidisciplinary care pathways.
Among the key pre-committed New Epping Medical tenants is Icon Cancer Centre, which will deliver specialist oncology care, along with radiology, GP clinic, cardiology and physiotherapy. These new tenants will complement a diverse network of healthcare specialists already in operation within the wider Health Hub.
For example, at Northern Private Hospital (which opened in early 2024 and is operated by Ramsay Health Care), eight signature tenants already provide a range of vital services. These include Northern Orthopaedic Group, offering comprehensive orthopaedic care; Northern Blood and Cancer Care, providing specialist hematology and oncology treatments; and Northern Pathology Collection Centre, supporting pathology services across the precinct.
Further Northern Private Hospital tenants include Yarra Vascular, which focuses specifically on vascular care; The Cardiologists, who provide expert cardiac services; specialist ear, nose and throat care team ENT Doctors; and Northern Specialists Group offering a broad range of medical services, from general surgery to specialist procedures.
Rounding-out the tenants based at Northern Private Hospital is Lumus Imaging, which offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services, from X-rays to advanced procedures like PET/CT and interventional imaging, and Thrive Fertility, a reproductive clinic providing access to world-class, affordable IVF treatment.
Together, these existing and future New Epping Health Hub tenants alongside the Northern Hospital Precinct will support collaboration, improve continuity of care, strengthen patient access and optimise health services for communities across Melbourne’s north and beyond.
