Thrive Fertility launches at New Epping Health Hub

Located within New Epping, the $1B health and innovation precinct, the New Epping Health Hub (NEHH) celebrated a major milestone in April with the launch of Thrive Fertility, a new reproductive clinic offering Victorians improved access to world-class, affordable IVF treatment.

Victorian Minister for Health, Infrastructure and Ambulance Services, The Hon. Mary-Anne Thomas, attended Thrive Fertility’s official launch event, marking a much-needed step forward in the de-centralisation of high-quality fertility care within one of Melbourne’s fastest growing urban corridors.

Offering comprehensive women’s health services including cutting-edge IVF technology, an on-site operating theatre and a purpose-built lab, Thrive Fertility provides a critical boost to health services in the north. Doctor-owned and driven, the all-in-one clinic offers cost- effective treatment options and reduces the need for women and couples to travel to Melbourne or interstate to access fertility treatments of the same calibre.

Situated within the new $133M Northern Private Hospital, operated by Ramsay Health Care, Thrive Fertility further provides a Victorian-first opportunity for the entire fertility cycle to be completed under one roof.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Ramsay Health Care, an organisation that shares our values and will help make possible our goal of 1,000 women becoming pregnant within the next 12 months.”

“Being part of the largest combined health precinct in the north allows our team of specialists to innovate and collaborate, with access to an integrated network of services that allows for the entirely fertility cycle to be completed under one roof,” said Professor Vinay Rane, associate at Thrive Fertility.

Positioned adjacent to the 13-hectare Northern Hospital Precinct, the Northern Private Hospital is located within the NEHH and welcomed its first patients in February. Together, the Northern Hospital Precinct and the NEHH form a 20-hectare ecosystem of private and public hospitals, allied healthcare, research, and education providers – the largest combined health cluster in the north.

Underpinned by health, healing and innovation, the 7-hectare NEHH will offer 80,000m2 of medical floorspace at completion, with an 8,000m2 state-of-the-art medical building now leasing and set to be fully integrated with the Northern Private Hospital via a link bridge.

“The New Epping Health Hub will set a new standard for health, healing and innovation – key cornerstones of the wider New Epping community. As part of our broader vision, the integrated precinct will provide new and vital infrastructure, top-tier medical facilities, economic opportunities and environmental outcomes, providing a healthy and liveable future for Melbourne’s north,” said David Lee, development director at Riverlee.
